Fall time!

Once again, Beeee-u-tee-ful weather all around Albuquerque! Well, at least where I live. I actually have no clue how cold it is in the mountains. Anyways, I think now is just about the high piont of the weather here. Albuquerque weather is so unpredictable, though, so for all I know it'll be snowing tomorrow (Heh. Snow.) and 92 degrees on Thursday. Now is the perfect time to go hiking in the Sandias. During this time of year, there are fall colors in the trees and nice cool weather, so you wont get all hot and tired during your hike. Also, there would be less bugs because they hate the cold. An all around great hiking experience!

This is the time of year to be outside! You could make a vistit to the ABQ Biopark! Visit the zoo botanic gardens, and the aquarium. At the zoo, you can see the animals, see shows, and play around in the play area! (you're never too old for the jungle gym!) At the botanic gardens, take a walk through the beautiful gardens (a... date, perhaps?) or walk around the fantasy garden and let your imagination run wild! Also, you could go visit the aquarium. You can even set up a sleepover in the shark tank room! It's a great activity to do with your friends or family.

As you can see, fall is a wonderful time of year. Once again, not THE most wonderful time of the year. That's christmas. Come on people, we've been over this! Anyways, I love living in Albuquerque. At any time of the year, it is a great place to be! Ok, we don't have that much snow, but we do have some in the Sandias. It's not the best place to be if you like rain/snow on a regular basis, but the weather always keeps things interesting here.

  1. Fall is the best time of year in Albuquerque, but Christmas is better...Our fall weather is a perfect mix between hot and cold.Sometimes what makes it really cold is that darn wind.Oooh and the trees are real pretty mix of orange and red!
